    today 13 year olds marriage is illegal and this should be enforced. But u should not incarcerate 18 year olds who marry 20 somethings, and this is what happened in texas. still no criminal charges.

    Because the Hebrew Bible doesn’t advocate force. It goes by the Golden Rule to do unto others as you would have them done unto you. So, underage marriage is wrong. I can’t see a girl today who would want to not finish school and choose to have babies in this modern day where women did not have this opportunity in the past. It is not fair, put yourself in a 13 year old shoes; they probably have’t even took a physics class yet, or been to college.

    Family cohabitation shouldn’t involve giving your 12 year old daughter to a 50 year old man in marriage.

    Consenting adults? I don’t know how you define adults, but they pulled 13 year old girls out of that cult compound in TX that were knocked up. This is why Warren Jeffs is in prison. For facilitating and condoning child rape. 13 year olds married to 50 year olds.

    Isnt polygamy practised in the Hebrew Bible, and perfectly legal and right under the Jewish Torah? so whats the big deal?
