Hmm… the doctrine of polygamy has not changed.. they just dont practice it here on earth right now.. but in their temples.. If Gordon B, after his wife died, wanted to marry and sealed in the temple, he would have two wives in heaven… so the teaching is there, but just not the lifestyle here on earth

mormons have NOTHING to do with polygame, and you will be hold accountable to the Lord for your false accusations.

The BofM has over 4000 changes. Yet the Polygamy revelation stands unchanged. it is viral and waiting. It Pronounces death on his wife,it nullifies all non mormon marriages and contracts while Simultaineously exalting Mormonism. Many think polygamy is some personal choice thing and it means what ever it means in their vague mind. Mormon Polygamy means just exactly what it says. It directly caused the Mountain Meadows Massacre. as did the Endowement ceremony and Blood Atonement Doctrine.

They go around saying they are the only true church on the face of the earth…. Does not that stand testing? We share the biblical message here, not for people to become a member of a church, but to the body of Christ - believers of Him..
Have you been born again? If you die tonight, would you live with God?
God bless

Some of us still practise piligamy. In my husbands dreams. Im glad you said and I quote “i have no proof” cause you dont but you said it anyway. And lets talk about mormon missionaries. They go out at the age that the rest of the world the same age is partying up hard and doing what not and they go out to totally strang country where they most likely know no one they sacrifice 2 years of their prime life to serve the Lord and spread the gospel which is more than I can say you are doing my friend

I also see that the Book of mormon does teach biblical doctrine (except a few, depending on what version you are reading…), but the LDS church teaches anti-Biblical doctrine.. You should also remember that the RLDS, FLDS and over 100 other religions that claim to follow Joseph Smith use the book of mormon to make people join them…

How are we judging you? We try to witness to mormons (showing the Biblical message vs LDS message) (and bring up historical facts)… You should look at the LDS church before you say we are doing a evil deed.. what are the mormon missionaries doing?

We believe in the Bible the Kings James version is the most correct translated version. We most certainly view the Holy Bible as the work of the Lord. THe bible goes hand in hand with The Book OF Mormon another testament of Jesus Christ. Contrary to what everyone believes the book of mormon does not go against anything in the bible but simply supports it. You should read it and find out yourself. I did and converted a few years ago, I didnt ask anyone but the Lord himself in prayer and its true!

It is sad to me that for someone who seems to be trying to spread the word of the Lord you come across as agressive and really someone who speaks of something he doesnt know about or understand. Just leave the Mormons and JW’s alone. Be positive in your life and you will be a positive influence on those who surround you. Mormons or JWs arent harming anybody. The Lord our God will be the judge leave that to him dont go doing the judging yourself you have no authority. Love one another !

Sorry, that came out wrong, you mean there are only one ptophet at the time, correct?… More than one prophet at the same time in OT are many… Hosea year 760-720 + Amos 760. Isaiah 739-685 + Mika 737-690. Jeremaia 627-580 + Habakuk 609 + Daniel 605-530 + Ezekiel 593-570. There are more… I dont know all the english names for the prophets, but I hope they are simmilar from Norwegian… Female prophets: Exd 15:20, Jdg 4:4, 2Ki 22:14, Neh 6:14, Luk 2:36, ACTS 21, 9 (!)..

No priesthood authority - we are given authority by God when we become born again - Read John 1, 12.. given the right ( another word for given authority in greek). There are female prophets in NT too… “Not the same authority as OT”, is that we shall not follow what the prophet says blindly - because in NT - we are supposed to test it, all of it
March 25th, 2008 at 5:36 am
And what authority is that, that they don’t have? Are you talking about the Priesthood authority? If thats the case, then you should also silence yourself like the women in the church as Paul stated to the Corinthians.

Now you are spinning: There is a huge difference between what Ive stated & what youve just posted
ME: If I recall correctly, God had chosen one prophet at the time as he has today since the OT days.
YOU: “as you have mentioned before - you said there where only ONE prophet in OT”
Female prophets? You’ve got to read further down to VS:34. Show me where in the Bible that God put more than one prophet on earth at the same time. There a many believers, not prophets in the body of Christ
March 29th, 2008 at 1:48 am
Many christian prophets - but it does not have the same authority as in OT, because christians shall judge according to Gods word
March 30th, 2008 at 2:52 pm
Finally, this is what I wanted you to say - because your believe here, is contrary to what the Bible say. First of all, as you have mentioned before - you said there where only ONE prophet in OT. That is wrong, there where more at times. There where even FEMALE prophets - unlike the LDS… And you should read 1 cor 14. Study it. It explains the CHRISTIAN sense - there are many prophets in the body of Christ. If you dont read the whole chapter, read verse 29. God bless

They do, but they only trust it “as far as it is translated correctly”… But they still think it is the word of God. The JW use a false translation
April 3rd, 2008 at 1:14 am
I know this is off topic, but, does the LDS use the exact same version of the Holy Bible that the christians use, or is it an edited version such as the one that the JW’s use? Do mormon’s not view the Holy Bible as the work of God as well?
April 5th, 2008 at 11:48 am
Believers & not God our Creator will do the judging? What is wrong with you people? Can’t you see…? that you’re going against what your own Holy Bible is dictating?
Pres. Thomas S. Monson is the only living prophet today in the whole world, chosen of God to speak, lead & direct His Church on his behalf period. He is not perfect. He is human, but God chose & blessed him to be his mouthpiece among both the believers & the unbelievers.
April 6th, 2008 at 2:02 am
Believers will test the prophecy according to Gods word. Is Thomas S. Monson the only true prophet here on earth?
April 6th, 2008 at 2:33 am
YOU: I think God speaks trough servants - YES. But it must be tested according to the word of God - The Bible.
Who will do this your so called judging/testing? God himself or the opinionated protestant-servants & readers of the Holy Bible? Christians contradict themselves with the Word of God, like polygamy, ’cause they do not believe in today’s Living Prophets, like: Pres. Thomas S.Monson of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
April 7th, 2008 at 7:48 am
I would like to answer your Q, but I would like to know your stance on it… I think God speaks trough servants - YES. But it must be tested according to the word of God - The Bible. If anything does not mach that - throw the false prophet away
April 9th, 2008 at 7:55 am
You’re still ignoring my question & by all means, if you like to move along without responding to it, then you know what that means….?
April 11th, 2008 at 1:08 pm
Do you confirm that there is only ONE prophet on earth? After I know your answer to that, I´l move on
April 14th, 2008 at 6:49 pm
Why? Does the Truth hurt? I have anwered your’s, and whats your respond to mine?
April 17th, 2008 at 6:03 pm
answer my Q. Is there only one prophet on earth?
