Many of the founding fathers owned slaves. They wanted a better society so they laid the floor work for the removal of slavery but it wasn’t removed until the government was threatened with the division of the union.

What you say about the orphans is sad but most likely a rumor. What aren’t rumors are the facts that mormons were murdered, raped, kicked out of their own homes and thrown out of the organized united states.

men went on long missions and another

There were very few conceptions

and it’s connection with Joseph
Smith–the communities drew
members from the East End of London
and had terrible problems with

Wow, why is it i have to repent and you don’t? If you looked at the jewish religion which jesus is lord over you would realize that to be saved is to be on the path of salvation and not nessicarily at the destination. You still need to repent like everyone else. What makes you think i’m in a cult?

You are seriously unducated for your own designs. a hundred years ago 14 was a proper marrying age around the world. I agree that the FLDS are breaking laws but if the CPS was doing it’s job properly the CPS would be forcing the desegregation of the group so the children would not only be protected more. But also be prepared and educated for the real world. How many of their teens do you really think would stay? Teens believe they are smarter then their parents and this would lead them away.

Isaih calls satan the fallen star of the morning suggesting that god created him and he fell away, when god creats christ and satan how are they not brothers? I’m rather certain that our missionaries don’t get there, not for a lack of desire but simply because missionaries are not to break the law when they work and many of the break away sects that practice polygamy use property rights to their favor, so just as the more affluent in gated communities, or those who decide to live in any local out of the reach of door to door proselytizing efforts. In this way their being apart from the world is tied to isolation that wasn’t had among early Saints.

Hey Hive, Here’s a question for you I have been wondering about. Does the Mormon Church send missionaries to, and actively proselytize, members of the polygamist groups such as the FLDS, telling them that polygamy is not God’s will, etc?

The CPS screwed up in the way the reacted and handeled the situation. That was what I said and if you were paying attention to the news, The CPS lost when the texas supreme court ruled against the removal of the children. The denyal of rights was noticed and now evidence illegaly obtained will probably get supressed in any cases brougt against the criminals involved.

The lord isn’t a hypocrite, anyone that doesn’t care for his past commandments is. He commanded ancient israel to build a temple. Jesus never said ‘don’t worry about the temple’. Why is it you say screw the temple? You mock the past commandments of the lord as if your widom is greater then the word of the lord.

There is a difference between Salvation as the ”Chistians”
refer and exaltation. LDS people mean something different than Baptists and Evangelicals do. Too bad JS didn’t ask for a definition. It means something like progress, piety, honor, what Jesus meant in First John when he said ”if you love me keep my commandments.” What you get for not
being good is a better place than this, and honorable people of all religions go to a realm of Glory
enlightened by their Holy Teachers.

Metallic artifacts are still found in the US. Linguistics die and change all the time. The DNA studies have yet to have all the results stated so they can make an unbyast claim. The geography doesn’t say anything, did you know that the sea of galilee is a medium sized lake? The great deep is a ocean and a sea is a lake or inland sea. Geography says nothing and I seriously want to know where the study results are for the DNA crap. I work with DNA and I am not stupid.
